Very few positives in the chicken industry this week and the final 3 months of 2009 are not much more encouraging. Boneless breasts are the focus with market declines totaling $.04 this week. Production cutbacks enabled the processors to inflate prices just enough to reach profitable levels in the second quarter of 2009, unfortunately the high demand season for chicken is ending and prices are already deflating.
